In the 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures auction, the work Waiting For Business sold for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,912.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Germain-Théodore Ribot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Flowers In A Blue Vase, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15).
