Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pears, apples and grapes alongside a cauldron by Germain-Théodore Ribot was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2000. The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 4,016.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Germain-Théodore Ribot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Flowers In A Blue Vase, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15).

Die Arbeit Pears, apples and grapes alongside a cauldron von Germain-Théodore Ribot kam im Oktober 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 4.016,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
