Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 4,016.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Germain-Théodore Ribot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Flowers In A Blue Vase, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,635.15).
