Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Komposition i blått och svart by Gerd Nordenskjöld was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2009, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 2,000.00 (€ 194.95). Admittedly, works by Gerd Nordenskjöld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Roterande cirklar" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,493.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Komposition i blått och svart von Gerd Nordenskjöld im Dezember 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 2.000,00 (€ 194,95) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerd Nordenskjöld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Roterande cirklar" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.493,03).
