This artwork by Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. In the The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings auction, the work A quince, dandelions, daisies, dahlia's, and a plateau with grapes, all on a ledge sold for EUR 6,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow roses and elderberries on a forest floor in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 114,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen erzielte im März 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings wurde die Arbeit A quince, dandelions, daisies, dahlia's, and a plateau with grapes, all on a ledge für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow roses and elderberries on a forest floor im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 114.000,00.
