The work The interior of the New Church in Delft, with the Tombe of William the Silent, crafted by Hendrik de Keyser by Gerard Houckgeest was worth EUR 162,500.00 to a buyer in October 2021. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gerard Houckgeest; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The west end of the Oude Kerk, Delft, from the southern aisle to the north, with the organ loft sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of GBP 187,200.00 (€ 277,828.23).
