The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gérard Guyomard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Au Dela De Cette Limite Votre Vision N'Est Plus Valable N°4, 1983-84 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 6,783.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Paysage de chutes von Gérard Guyomard kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Guyomard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Au Dela De Cette Limite Votre Vision N'Est Plus Valable N°4, 1983-84 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.783,00.
