Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 2,624.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gérard Guyomard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Au Dela De Cette Limite Votre Vision N'Est Plus Valable N°4, 1983-84, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 6,783.00.
