A top price for Gerard d'Alton Henderson - as previously expected
In May last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Online, which included this untitled work by Gerard d'Alton Henderson. The price achieved of HKD 7,560.00 (€ 897.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Gerard d'Alton Henderson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gerard d'Alton Henderson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.560,00 (€ 897,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gerard d'Alton Henderson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
