Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Flower Still Life With Roses by Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007. The price achieved of EUR 18,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow roses and elderberries on a forest floor in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 114,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Flower Still Life With Roses von Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerardina Jacoba van de Sande Bakhuyzen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow roses and elderberries on a forest floor im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 114.000,00.
