Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Navajo Man, Navajo Women, Thoreau (New Mexico) and Navajo Girl with Lamb (Three Works) by Gerald Cassidy for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,377.12). This price was achieved in the auction Portrait of the WestThe Diane and Sam Stewart Collection at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerald Cassidy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Indians Racing Before a Storm in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerald Cassidy erzielen.
