Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golden Wings by Gerald Balciar was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,657.50 (€ 1,404.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gerald Balciar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2019 the work Mother's Pride was auctioned for USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,087.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Golden Wings von Gerald Balciar wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.657,50 (€ 1.404,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Gerald Balciar konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2019 die Arbeit Mother's Pride für USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.087,18) versteigert.
