The work Landscape by Georgy Semenovich Vereisky was sold in the Russian auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,778.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,700.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Georgy Semenovich Vereisky that we have observed at auctions so far.
