Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Georgian Still Life With Fruit by Georgy Ivanovich Gabashvili. The price achieved of USD 97,000.00 (€ 62,307.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgy Ivanovich Gabashvili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Bazaar In Samarkand in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,136,000.00 (€ 899,873.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Georgian Still Life With Fruit von Georgy Ivanovich Gabashvili zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 97.000,00 (€ 62.307,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgy Ivanovich Gabashvili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Bazaar In Samarkand im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.136.000,00 (€ 899.873,26).
