Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Nid by Georgios Zongolopoulos. The price achieved of EUR 12,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georgios Zongolopoulos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Aithrio (Atrium), which sold at auction in May 2010 for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 46,455.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nid von Georgios Zongolopoulos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georgios Zongolopoulos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Aithrio (Atrium) beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für GBP 39.650,00 (€ 46.455,48) versteigert wurde.
