The work Greek Aithrio (Atrium) by Georgios Zongolopoulos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2010. The price achieved of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 46,455.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Aithrio (Atrium) is the most expensive artwork by Georgios Zongolopoulos that we have observed at auctions so far.
