Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek little Church On A Hill With Portrait Of A Saint by Georgios Derpapas. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,937.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georgios Derpapas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Surrealist Composition, which sold at auction in May 2009 for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 56,341.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek little Church On A Hill With Portrait Of A Saint von Georgios Derpapas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.937,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georgios Derpapas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Surrealist Composition beobachtet, die im Mai 2009 für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 56.341,50) versteigert wurde.
