A top price for Georgios Derpapas - as previously expected
The work Greek Surrealist Composition by Georgios Derpapas was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in May 2009. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 56,341.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Surrealist Composition is the most expensive artwork by Georgios Derpapas that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Greek Surrealist Composition von Georgios Derpapas wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 56.341,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
