Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Greek Landscape With Church And Angel by Georgios Derpapas. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 10,943.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georgios Derpapas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Surrealist Composition in May 2009 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 56,341.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greek Landscape With Church And Angel von Georgios Derpapas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 10.943,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georgios Derpapas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Surrealist Composition im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 56.341,50).
