Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art, which included the work Bord De Seine by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,874.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elégante dans un jardin, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bord De Seine von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.874,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Henri Manzana Pissarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elégante dans un jardin beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.638,17) versteigert wurde.
