Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sous Les Tropiques - 1919 by Georges Lepape was sold in the Paris Atelier du Monde auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,300.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Lepape have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vaslav Nijinsky dans ‘Le Spectre de la Rose’ in March this year with an auction result of EUR 10,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sous Les Tropiques - 1919 von Georges Lepape wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Paris Atelier du Monde bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Lepape auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vaslav Nijinsky dans ‘Le Spectre de la Rose’ im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.080,00.
