Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Woman by Georges Hanna Sabbagh was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,693.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Hanna Sabbagh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Sycomores du Vieux Caire (Old Cairo's Sycamore Trees) in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 110,000.00 (€ 99,619.63).
