Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georges Hanna Sabbagh could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Potrait changed hands for GBP 112.50 (€ 125.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Hanna Sabbagh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Sycomores du Vieux Caire (Old Cairo's Sycamore Trees) in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 110,000.00 (€ 99,619.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Hanna Sabbagh konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Potrait für GBP 112,50 (€ 125,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Hanna Sabbagh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Sycomores du Vieux Caire (Old Cairo's Sycamore Trees) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.000,00 (€ 99.619,63).
