Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nu allongé by Georges Hanna Sabbagh was sold in the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 71,262.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Georges Hanna Sabbagh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2015 the work Les Sycomores du Vieux Caire (Old Cairo's Sycamore Trees) was auctioned for USD 110,000.00 (€ 99,619.63).

Die Arbeit Nu allongé von Georges Hanna Sabbagh wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 71.262,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
