Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Georges Borgeaud achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Geneva in June 2001. In the SCHWEIZER KUNST auction, the work Concarneau, 1987 sold for CHF 5,875.00 (€ 3,858.20) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Borgeaud; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Weinberg bei Genf. 1983. sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of CHF 5,000.00 (€ 4,796.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Borgeaud erzielte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Genf einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SCHWEIZER KUNST wurde die Arbeit Concarneau, 1987 für CHF 5.875,00 (€ 3.858,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georges Borgeaud; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Weinberg bei Genf. 1983. im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 5.000,00 (€ 4.796,04).
