Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Les Quais De Paris, Les Bouquinistes by Georges Jules Ernest Binet. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,931.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Jules Ernest Binet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scene De Plage, which sold at auction in October 2012 for EUR 5,148.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Quais De Paris, Les Bouquinistes von Georges Jules Ernest Binet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.931,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Jules Ernest Binet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scene De Plage beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für EUR 5.148,00 versteigert wurde.
