Admittedly, works by George Stainton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blyth, Northumberland in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,819.49).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.242,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Stainton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blyth, Northumberland im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.819,49).
