Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,987.50 (€ 4,678.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by George Shalders have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2007 the work A meeting at sunset was auctioned for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 8,065.84).
