Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Sir Thomas Wriothesley, after Sir Peter Lely, by George Perfect Harding for GBP 258.50 (€ 410.82). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Perfect Harding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work James I (1566-1625), King Of Scotland As James Vi 1567-1625, And King Of England 1603-1625, In Gold-Embroidered Doublet With Ermine Sleeves, High Lace Ruff, Wearing The Collar Of The Order Of The Garter And A Great George, Black Hat With Jewelled Hat Badg in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.0
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit James I (1566-1625), King Of Scotland As James Vi 1567-1625, And King Of England 1603-1625, In Gold-Embroidered Doublet With Ermine Sleeves, High Lace Ruff, Wearing The Collar Of The Order Of The Garter And A Great George, Black Hat With Jewelled Hat Badg im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.016,83).
