Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vixen by George Paice was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2006. The price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 606.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by George Paice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Over the ditch in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,216.82).
