Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A cottage by a pond by George Paice was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 204.00 (€ 301.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Paice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Over the ditch in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,216.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A cottage by a pond von George Paice kam im April 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 204,00 (€ 301,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Paice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Over the ditch im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.216,82).
