Admittedly, works by George Melvin Rennie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autumn, near Banchory Devenick, Low Deeside in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 8,435.33).
