Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape With Trees Near A Pond by Geo Poggenbeek for EUR 875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Geo Poggenbeek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Horseman on a Path in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape With Trees Near A Pond von Geo Poggenbeek für EUR 875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geo Poggenbeek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Horseman on a Path im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.000,00.
