Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Cows in a meadow by Geo Poggenbeek. The price achieved of EUR 3,824.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Geo Poggenbeek have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work A Horseman on a Path was auctioned for EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cows in a meadow von Geo Poggenbeek zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.824,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Geo Poggenbeek konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit A Horseman on a Path für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert.
