Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A London crescent, with a carriage and elegant figures, at dusk unframed chalk drawings, the majority topographical subjects and studies of carriages and elegant figures on London streets (one illustrated), Trafalgar Square and rustic views, one indi by George James Rowe was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, of which not even the Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George James Rowe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pont Street, London in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,814.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A London crescent, with a carriage and elegant figures, at dusk unframed chalk drawings, the majority topographical subjects and studies of carriages and elegant figures on London streets (one illustrated), Trafalgar Square and rustic views, one indi von George James Rowe im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
