Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hollyhocks by George Henry Hall was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2000. It achieved a price of USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,692.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Henry Hall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bric-a-Brac in January this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 139,252.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hollyhocks von George Henry Hall kam im Oktober 2000 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.225,00 (€ 9.692,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Henry Hall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bric-a-Brac im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 139.252,16).
