Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Still Life with Grapes and a Peach by George Henry Hall was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,039.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Henry Hall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bric-a-Brac in January this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 139,252.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Still Life with Grapes and a Peach von George Henry Hall kam im September 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.200,00 (€ 8.039,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Henry Hall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bric-a-Brac im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 139.252,16).
