Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Edward Lodge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study of rabbits; and Study of a blue hare, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,473.61).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.033,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
