Here, the upper estimate of GBP 400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 406.30 (€ 614.01). Admittedly, works by George Callow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fisherfolk conversing at the end of the day in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,954.87).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 406,30 (€ 614,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Callow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fisherfolk conversing at the end of the day im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.954,87).
