Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georg Rueter could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Portrait of the artist's daughter Gerarda changed hands for NLG 936.16 (€ 411.50) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Rueter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses in a blanc de Chine vase in July 2000 with an auction result of NLG 21,063.60 (€ 9,258.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Rueter konnte im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of the artist's daughter Gerarda für NLG 936,16 (€ 411,50) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georg Rueter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses in a blanc de Chine vase im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 21.063,60 (€ 9.258,80).
