Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Dalia's: a colourful bouquet by Georg Rueter. The price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georg Rueter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roses in a blanc de Chine vase, which sold at auction in July 2000 for NLG 21,063.60 (€ 9,258.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dalia's: a colourful bouquet von Georg Rueter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georg Rueter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roses in a blanc de Chine vase beobachtet, die im Juli 2000 für NLG 21.063,60 (€ 9.258,80) versteigert wurde.
