This artwork by Georg Rueter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work A still life with roses in a vase sold for NLG 12,872.20 (€ 5,658.16) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georg Rueter; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Roses in a blanc de Chine vase sold at auction in July 2000 with the realized price of NLG 21,063.60 (€ 9,258.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Rueter erzielte im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit A still life with roses in a vase für NLG 12.872,20 (€ 5.658,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georg Rueter; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Roses in a blanc de Chine vase im Juli 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 21.063,60 (€ 9.258,80).
