Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georg Oddner could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, the work "Kvinna och draperies", 1953 (The woman and the curtain) changed hands for SEK 5,000.00 (€ 576.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Oddner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Den dansande matrosen, Kiev", 1955 in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 35,000.00 (€ 3,836.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Oddner konnte im November 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary wechselte die Arbeit "Kvinna och draperies", 1953 (The woman and the curtain) für SEK 5.000,00 (€ 576,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Oddner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Den dansande matrosen, Kiev", 1955 im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 35.000,00 (€ 3.836,14).
