Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georg Andreas Böckler could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Twelve Plates changed hands for USD 1,075.50 (€ 1,088.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Andreas Böckler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work [Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Eight Plates|AID928624] in February 2002 with an auction result of USD 4,935.00 (€ 5,699.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georg Andreas Böckler konnte im September 2002 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE wechselte die Arbeit Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Twelve Plates für USD 1.075,50 (€ 1.088,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Andreas Böckler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit [Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Eight Plates|AID928624] im Februar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.935,00 (€ 5.699,93).
