four engravings, 1664, with hand-coloring, on laid papers, published by Paulus Fürst, Nuremberg, all with margins, minor surface soiling, a few with an occasional pale foxmark, small areas of stray printing ink and hand-coloring, otherwise all apparently in very good condition, in faux-gilt frames, not examined out of the frames

Auction result misses estimated price range

In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Four Plates by Georg Andreas Böckler for USD 1,195.00 (€ 970.76). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Georg Andreas Böckler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work [Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Eight Plates|AID928624] in February 2002 with an auction result of USD 4,935.00 (€ 5,699.93).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Architecturae Curiosae Novae Pars Tertia Fountains: Four Plates von Georg Andreas Böckler für USD 1.195,00 (€ 970,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
