Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rally Monte-Carlo by Geo Ham was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,555.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rally Monte-Carlo von Geo Ham kam im Januar 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.555,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
