Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Geo Ham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in February 2020. In the Racing, Flying & Yachting auction, the work Louis Chiron Au Grand Prix D'Antibes 1928 sold for EUR 1,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Geo Ham erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Racing, Flying & Yachting wurde die Arbeit Louis Chiron Au Grand Prix D'Antibes 1928 für EUR 1.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
