Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In February 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Racing, Flying & Yachting, which included the work Pilote Au Casque Bleu by Geo Ham. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 585.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geo Ham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monaco, 1936 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,487.03).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Februar 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Racing, Flying & Yachting durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pilote Au Casque Bleu von Geo Ham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 585,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geo Ham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monaco, 1936 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.487,03).
