A top price for Gennaro Befanio - as previously expected
The work Italian At Her Toilette by Gennaro Befanio was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2009. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,734.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Italian At Her Toilette is the most expensive artwork by Gennaro Befanio that we have observed at auctions so far.
