Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Genieve Figgis could be acquired at Phillips in 19 - in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work The Swing After Fragonard changed hands for GBP 953.00 (€ 953.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Genieve Figgis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Debutants Ball in March last year with an auction result of CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Genieve Figgis konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 19 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit The Swing After Fragonard für GBP 953,00 (€ 953,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Debutants Ball im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07).
