In September this year Phillips in 19 - held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work Pink Sky by Genieve Figgis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,302.00 (€ 3,302.00), 65% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Genieve Figgis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Debutants Ball in March last year with an auction result of CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 19 - die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink Sky von Genieve Figgis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.302,00 (€ 3.302,00) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Debutants Ball im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07).
